Kate Wax will release her next album, Dust Collision , this November on Border Community .Reflections of the Dark Heat on Mental Groove Records. Dust Collision is her first proper artist album since then, and shows her charting familiar territory: oblique lyrics, avant-garde production styles and a generally haunting mood. According to a press release, it takes its name from experiments taking place at Switzerland's Large Hadron Collider, where her grandfather once worked. Wax composed the album at her home in Geneva, then mixed it with Border Community boss James Holden at his studio in London.
