- Optimo will join Patrice Bäumel and Nuno dos Santos for the last ever 360 party on Saturday.
The final 360 party will take place this Saturday at Trouw in Amsterdam.
Patrice Baumel and Nuno dos Santos' 360 party has happened once every month since Trouw opened its doors back in February of 2009. In that time the duo have curated a wide-ranging program, evidenced by guests such as DJ Harvey, Donato Dozzy, Marcel Dettmann, Francesco Tristano and Ivan Smagghe.
In that same free-wheeling spirit, the pair will be joined by JD Twitch and JG Wilkes, AKA Optimo, for the final 360 party this Saturday evening. Twitch and Wilkes are an institution in their home town of Glasgow, thanks mainly to their long-serving Optimo (Espacio) night, which finished its run at the Sub Club last year. Attendees should expect a little bit of everything as they take control of Trouw's downstairs room for the entire night, leaving Bäumel and dos Santos to oversee the club's cavernous upstairs room.
While there's been no indication as to the reasons why the 360 party has finished up, the club's Facebook page indicates that 360 as a DJ duo and Trouw residents will live on: "Did you know 360 is gonna quit? No, not as a dj-duo and they won't give up their residency at Trouw either. But this coming Saturday the monthly clubnight will come to an end."
