Carl Craig to visit Melbourne and Brisbane next month

- The Detroit techno icon will play a total of three Australian shows on the Planet E 20th Anniversary tour.
- Carl Craig will arrive on Australian shores this December to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his Planet E Communications imprint. Having visited just last year for the D25 tour, in celebration of 25 years of Detroit techno, Craig's impact and influence on electronic dance music will again be honoured with three shows on Australia's east coast, including gigs in Melbourne and Brisbane. Since its genesis in 1991, Planet E has released records for legends like Kevin Saunderson, Moodymann, Kenny Larkin, Paul Woolford and, of course, Carl Craig himself under a string of pseudonyms. Still an active and prominent techno label, the 20 year milestone for Craig's brainchild has prompted a world tour which will make its way down south next month. The Melbourne party will be hosted by The Likes of You on December 16th at Roxanne Parlour, with Belgian disco man Aeroplane in support. Auditree and Future Entertainment are teaming up for the Brisbane show on December 18th at Barsoma. Tickets to the Sydney show on December 17th with Octave One and John Roberts are still available through RA.
