The Chicago artist will spin at Chez Jacki on Saturday.
Chrissy Murderbot, real name Christopher Shively, will play a headlining slot at Berlin's Chez Jacki this weekend.
Shively is one of the most well known artists to have emerged from Chicago's celebrated juke and footwork scene. This is partly due the extensive catalogue the American notched up since making his production debut five years ago, having released three albums and over two-dozen singles spread across labels like Planet Mu, WIDE and his own Dead Homies and Sleazetone Records. As a DJ, his sets are rarely limited to juke and footwork alone, so attendees can expect a selection as eclectic as it is upbeat when he takes to the decks this weekend. Shively is joined on the bill by San Francisco-based hip-hop producer NastyNasty and Scottish up-and-comer Rudi Zygadlo. The event is the second-to-last edition in the monthly series formerly known as Densehall.
