Poker Flat Recordings have compiled a second edition of Forward to the Past , due for release in December. Forward to the Past paid tribute to all things old-school club, from New York house to early Detroit techno. As its title suggests, Forward to the Past 2 - The Acid Flashback has a more singular focus: acid. A diverse cast of producers dust off their TB-303s for the occasion, including Snuff Crew , Motorcitysoul and KiNK & Neville Watson . Tin Man , an acid devotee prior to his career in moody electronic ballads, delivers a jacking Chicago-style track called "Blown." Label founder Steve Bug appears with the frankly titled "This Is Acid." As with the first edition of Forward to the Past , most of the artists included come from outside of Poker Flat's usual stable. The collection will be available digitally and on vinyl, with one extra track appearing on the digital version: "All I've Got" by a new group called Wondercan.
