Dasha Rush plays for Oktave

- The Berlin-based artist will make her second stateside appearance in New York this weekend.
- This Saturday in New York, Oktave. will host Dasha Rush and Mike Parker for a night at the recently renovated National Underground. A native Russian now based in Berlin, Rush has been producing a dark blend of techno and pop for half a decade, primarily through her own Fullpanda and Hunger To Create imprints. She also produces for Sonic Groove, which hosted her in New York early last year for her only other US appearance to date. For this weekend's party she'll share the bill with Parker, a Buffalo artist and university lecturer who's crafted experimental techno for Prologue, Semantica and his own long-standing label, Geophone. Rush and Parker will both DJ, and Oktave resident Jeff Derringer will start out the night.
