  • Matthew Dekay will headline the Reckless Republic Christmas party at The Spice Cellar this Saturday the 24th. Currently residing in Berlin, the classically trained Dutch producer's ten year career has spanned house, techno, and progressive house amongst other things. After a slight decrease in production output since 2008, Dekay began releasing original music again last year. He has collaborated on two records with Englishman Lee Burridge, released on Cécille Records and their own freshly established label All Day I Dream, an extension of the pair's daytime New York rooftop parties of the same name. Their debut twelve-inch, a split single shared with UK tech house duo Audiofly, was well received upon its release back in October. Dekay will play one show whilst in Sydney this weekend. Support will be provided by Reckless Republic regulars Robbie Lowe, Murat Kilic, Carlos Zarate and several more local DJs. Doors open at 10:00 PM.
