- The Greek producer teams up with Ilan Manouach and Yannis Lookos on a new LP for Welcome to Masomenos.
Lemos has teamed up with fellow Greek producers Ilan Manouach and Yannis Lookos for a new project called Glacial, with the first album in the pipeline for later this month.
George Laimos has been one of Athens' main underground club exports for years, having put out records on labels like Cécille Numbers and Air London. Manouach and Lookos have kept lower profiles so far: the former plays in a few different groups and on his own, with specialties ranging from saxophone to field recording, and the latter has yet to release any music. On Costes presents Glacial, their first release, the trio make understated, jazz-influenced microhouse with an experimental edge. The album will come out on Welcome to Masomenos, the label run by the Parisian duo Masomenos.
