- Recorded at the Roundhouse in London, Transverse features a one-off collaboration by Nik Void, Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti.
This March, Mute will release a live album by Carter Tutti Void, a collaboration by Nik Void of Factory Floor and Throbbing Gristle members Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti.
Entitled Transverse, the album documents Carter Tutti Void's one-off performance at last year's Short Circuit presents Mute festival at the Roundhouse in London. Carter and Tutti had joined forces in the past (most famously as Chris & Cosey), but the addition of Nik Void on guitar made the performance a completely unique event. The Quietus described it thusly: "Carter at the back manipulates the electronics while on either flank, Void scratches noise with bowed guitar and Tutti plays while singing vocals that she mangles and distorts." Transverse will be available digitally as well as on vinyl and CD.
