  • Belle & Sebastian have compiled the next edition of Late Night Tales. If they hadn't already curated an edition back in 2006, Belle & Sebastian might seem an unlikely choice for Late Night Tales, a compilation series that's heavier on DJs and production outfits than it is on seven-piece indie rock bands. The new collection is just as eclectic as the last, with jazz, post-punk and old obscurities alongside current artists like Gold Panda and Toro Y Moi. The series' two traditions are observed: for their cover version, Belle & Sebastian choose "Crash," originally by the '80s punk band The Primitives, and the album wraps up with the third part of Paul Morley's short story "Lost for Words."
