  • Future Entertainment have announced that Aphex Twin will be playing two Australian sideshows in the first week of March. Returning to the country for the first time since 2004, Aphex Twin (AKA Richard D. James) has had a limited touring schedule for a number of years. Having consistently been one of the scene's most influential figures for more than 20 years with a plethora of releases on labels like Warp, R&S and his own Rephlex imprint, James has not released a record under his Aphex Twin moniker since 2005. He does, however, continue to perform his audio-visual live show at some of the world's most recognised festivals and events, albeit scarcely. James will be joined in Melbourne and Sydney by a like-minded electronic veteran: Mark Pritchard. The Sydney show will be held at the Enmore Theatre on March 2nd, with Melbourne following up on March 6th at The Palace Theatre.
