LHF will release their first artist album in April, entitled Keepers of the Light.

Not much is known about LHF, a murky collective that includes the producers Amen Ra, Double Helix and Low Density Matter. They first appeared in 2010 with an EP called Enter the Silence, which Martin "Blackdown" Clark released on his label, Keysound Recordings. "They've got this sound like Sun Ra's hijacked Rinse FM and is using it to communicate with the heavens," Clark said at the time. Keysound also put out LHF's one EP since then and will be releasing Keepers of the Light. With 26 tracks across two discs, the album is a hefty contribution to the group's slim catalog. Watch the video for "Akashic Visions" below and see if you can tell what Clark's on about.

Sat, 28 Apr 2012Love the LHF sound. One of the few unique voices in dubstep. Cannot wait to immerse myself in the album.

Sun, 22 Apr 2012One bone to pick with the review. If tech jungle and 'darkside dnb' from the late 90s/ early 00s is being ignored, then what is dbridge (former foundingmember of Bad Company) doing with his label Exit records, or ASC onhis label, or the nonplus kids? What is Dieselboy still doing touring? The darkside is still there and not ignored except by the mass of hipsters who got bored when the tech jungle sets became too popular and decided to turn their attention elsewhere.

Otherwise, great review.
