Ushuaia reveals Opening Weekend parties

- Luciano and Fatboy Slim will open up the festivities at the hotel in May.
- Ushuaia, the hotel based directly opposite Space in Ibiza, has announced plans for the start of its party program for 2012. It's a doubleheader, and it begins on Saturday 26th May with Luciano, followed on the next day by Fatboy Slim. Luciano is arguably the act most closely associated with the venue, having followed it on the journey from beach shack in 2009 through to the major hotel and events complex of 2011. (The space underwent a multi-million euro refurbishment before opening last year.) Details on Luciano's 2012 residency—and the rest of Ushuaia's plans—are yet to be revealed, but events last year included parties with Cadenza, Sasha and Defected.
