Derrick May, Chez Damier and Thomas Melchior will also play at Watergate next weekend.
American deep house artist Delano Smith will soon touch down at Berlin's Watergate to mark the release of his most recent album, An Odyssey.
Smith, who cut his teeth as a DJ in Detroit throughout the '80s before going on a hiatus for much of the following decade, has spent his moving among a variety of labels, but arguably his biggest records have come out on Mixmode, Third Ear Recordings and Sushitech, the latter of which is releasing his latest LP. A number of house and techno luminaries will be joining Smith on the Watergate bill, with fellow Detroit artists Derrick May and Chez Damier among those confirmed. Veteran minimalist Thomas Melchior, Dutch artist Makam and Sushitech boss Yossi Amoyal have also been locked in.
