- LA party A Club Called Rhonda will head to Austin next Friday for a party at SXSW. According to RA's Jonny Coleman, A Club Called Rhonda is "easily among the best monthly parties in Los Angeles." The series has achieved a kind of cult status thanks to its music programming (generally a mix of house and disco) and its signature brand of "polysexual hard partying." Next Friday's edition will be their first shindig at SXSW, and they've really outdone themselves with the lineup. Headlining is DJ Harvey, whose weird and flamboyant style makes him the quintessential A Club Called Rhonda guest. Stones Throw boss and hip-hop producer Peanut Butter Wolf gives the party an eclectic twist, and Rhonda resident Goddollars rounds off the bill.
