- SoBe Live will host a 7-hour set from the eclectic selector later this month.
DJ Harvey will play an extended set at SoBe Live in Miami during WMC.
As you may have learned from last week's podcast, Harvey has a style that's as unpredictable as it is unique. This, combined with his marathon sets and salty charisma (he once told his son, "You can't understand the blues until you've had your heart broken by a woman or whatever, and you can't understand my music until you've had group sex on ecstasy,") have made him a cult figure around the world. True to form, he'll man the decks at SoBe Live, a swanky South Beach club, for a full seven hours, from when the doors open at 10:00 PM til the venue shuts at 5:00 AM. Expect a whole galaxy of dance records, from early disco to recent deep house.
