  • New York promoter Sound Noir will celebrate three years of parties with an all-night event in Brooklyn on Saturday, April 7th. Since forming in early 2009, Sound Noir has hosted some of the finest talent in underground house music, including John Roberts, DJ Sprinkles and Fred P. When the party itself heads underground, it usually goes all night. That should be the case with next month's 11-hour anniversary bash, which will host an all-local lineup in two "cavernous warehouse rooms" at a TBA location in Brooklyn. Versatile DJ and producer Maurice Fulton takes over the decks in the first room, where DJ Qu, Jacques Renault, and Helping Hands (AKA A.Arias and resident Andrey Radovski) will also DJ, while Thema label manager Lenny Posso leads the charge in the second room with Felipe Q (playing live). J Red and Mike Minogue from Sound Noir and J.D. round out the evening's bill.
