- Hippos In Tanks will release the Montreal artist's first album.
D'eon will drop a new album called LP on Hippos In Tanks this June.
The Montreal artist has appeared on the L.A. label twice before, first with the seven-track Palinopsia and then with last year's Darkbloom, a split LP with fellow Quebecois artist Grimes. Whether or not LP should be called his debut album is debatable, but it marks his longest release yet at fourteen tracks. The label remains tight-lipped about what exactly the album will contain, though the producer's back catalog has seen him experimenting with all different kinds of dance music structures and forms in a distinctly lo-fi manner.
