Guy Gerber, Craig Richards and others will play at the Awarehouse during WMC to raise money for Youthville in Detroit.
Danny Tenaglia tops the bill at a Miami edition of Need I Say More next Saturday.
The event has its roots in the popular daytime afterparty that takes place at the Old Miami veteran's bar during Movement in Detroit. In Miami, the Awarehouse (an indoor/outdoor art space) will be the party's home for a thirteen-hour bash starting at noon. Tenaglia will play a classics set, and he'll be joined by eight other acts, many of whom have played the party in Detroit. The Visionquest label will be out in force with DJ sets from Tale Of Us and Laura Jones, and a live set from Footprintz. Craig Richards, Bill Patrick and Matt Tolfrey will DJ, and the day's lineup is rounded out by two more live artists: Guy Gerber and Blood Orange.
All profits from the party will be donated to the Youthville Detroit Organization, which we highlighted along with one of its music teachers, Mike Huckaby, in our Real Scenes: Detroit feature last year. Grab tickets here on RA.
