  • Back problems have forced Ricardo Villalobos to cancel the next four weeks of gigs, including his appearance at Time Warp in Mannheim. Time Warp released the news this afternoon on their Facebook page, saying that Villalobos has suffered a spinal disc herniation, and was told by his doctor that he had to call off at least four weeks of gigs. "Especially the risk of a long-term damage—if not the possible option of back pain for the rest of his live[sic]—must be considered as the main reason for this short break," the statement read. "First of all, we are obliged to protect Ricardo's health as best possible, but we also have to ensure his further presence at this world's stages." The cancellation will make 2012 the first time in many years Villalobos has not played the annual festival in Mannheim. Other affected dates include parties at Fuse in Belgium and Jaeger in Norway.
