- The Detroit DJ will play the first instalment of a new event concept in Vancouver this April.
Mike Huckaby will headline Vancouver's first VISIT party at Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel on April 20.
VISIT is a new event concept in Vancouver led by BODY organizers Scott Woodworth and Cedric Meister, focused on "bringing artists to Vancouver with the plan to work on music in addition to playing a show." DJs and artists who are booked to play VISIT are provided with a variety of equipment, and encouraged not only to make music alone but also work with local Vancouver residents, with the project emphasizing the "exchange of knowledge and resources through collaboration." The artists will also be invited for extended stays in Vancouver to take advantage of the offer. Support on the show will come from local house & techno DJs and VISIT organizers Scott W and Cedric.
