The UK-based Paper Recordings will release a new compilation this May, entitled Paper Cuts #1.
The label began in 1994 releasing deep house, but they've moved on over the years to more of a disco aesthetic. Paper Cuts #1 sees 22 tracks unmixed and spread across two CDs, with the music generally traveling between the two aforementioned genres. It features productions from up-and-coming artists that have released on Paper Cuts such as Manchester's Daco and Norway's Proviant Audio, while older heads on the label's roster, Flash Atkins and Crazy Penis, are represented as well.
