  • Dollop have announced details regarding a string of their upcoming parties. The Nottingham-born party has maintained a steady presence in the capital since 2007, dealing mostly in and around the genre now known as bass music but also incorporating house, techno and live acts. Like countless other London promoters they've consistently utilized a selection of venues for their parties, which will again be the case for their four upcoming events. Netil 000, the E8 venue which has commonly been known as Netil House, is first up on March 31st. The city of Glasgow will come under representation by the colour-drenched electronics of Rustie and 2-step dabbler Koreless, both of whom will play live. They'll be joined by South London Ordnance and Boiler Room's Charles Drakeford. Corsica Studios will host Dollop's next outing on April 20th, which doubles as a Garden Festival warm-up party. London's Eglo imprint is the other key component here: in addition to an Eglo live band (which will feature Fatima and Olivier Daysoul) FunkinEven and Alexander Nut will both DJ. The Nottingham connection will be in full effect at Dollop's May 5th party, as the city's Matt Cutler, AKA rave-indebted producer Lone, launches his forthcoming album, Galaxy Garden, at Bussey Warehouse in Peckham. Cutler will be pushing his live set at the event, while Nightwave, Illum Sphere and a "special R&S guest DJ" take to the turntables. Looking ahead to June, Dollop will be staging an evening show with Stones Throw's Dâm-Funk. Support acts are yet to be confirmed but know that this one goes down at Shoreditch's XOYO on Wednesday 13th June. Tickets to all Dollop's upcoming parties are available to purchase through RA Tickets.
