Future Sound of Buenos Aires is a new collection of music by artists operating in the city's electronic music scene.
"Classic rural South-American-style with electronic futurism" is how a press release sums up Future Sound of Buenos Aires. ZZK Records, the label who alongside Waxploitation are behind the release, has been a key electronic music exponent in the Argentinian capital since starting out back in 2008, and came to the wider attention of the global scene in 2010 with the release of Chancha Vía Circuito's Río Arriba. All of the artists involved with the release, which includes figures like Chancha Vía Circuito, Super Guachin, Mati Zundel and El Remolon, came together to write music specifically for the compilation.
