Lo*kee turns four with Pampa

DJ Koze and Robag Wruhme are both billed for party at London's 7-9 Crucifix Lane in early May.

London's lo*kee will mark their fourth birthday on Sunday 6th May.

As you might have guessed from the name, Lo*kee has built its following through semi-regular secretive events in temporary spaces around London. In 2010 they began to branch out into "above board" parties at established venues under the name Lo*kee Loves, collaborating with like-minded record labels and clubs/promoters from across Europe. Southwark's 7-9 Crucifix Lane has been a stable home for them since February 2011, and on Sunday, May 6th (the day before the May Bank Holiday) they'll link up with Stefan Kozalla and Marcus Fink's Pampa Records for an all-night celebration of left-field house and techno.

Started in 2009 Pampa has been a home for the music of Kozalla (better known, of course, by his artist name DJ Koze) and German artists such as Isolée, Ada and Christopher Rau. Robag Wruhme—who along with DJ Koze headlines the upcoming party—has been something of a mainstay for Pampa thus far (releasing a single and an album) along with oddball outfit Die Vögel, who play live on the night. Lo*kee residents and founders Sebastian Voigt and Nisekay will provide support on the night.

Tickets for Lo*kee Loves Pampa Records are available to purchase from RA Tickets.

Sat, 16 Jun 2012hi guys, don't want to inflame the discussion further but:
1. Who arrives at midnight? Its a bit early, and no wonder there's a huge q at the time. I got there at 2.30 and walked right through.
2. Where I'm from (Germany) nobody ever pre-sells tickets and when you get to a club you normally q 2 hours and still run the risk of getting turned down, so you should be grateful that you get to pre-buy tickets for such an outstanding night! q or no q you got guaranteed entrance so whats the fuss... More

Fri, 11 May 2012Absolutely OUTSTANDING event!

The music was exceptional from the second I walked in! Intentions to leave at 6 were abandoned as I was captured by literally minute after minute of phenomenal sound.

Lo*kee continues to exemplify outstanding musical and venue selection in my opinion, haven't been disappointed yet!

To be fair, Que sucks! And although I have tremendous appreciation for Crucifix Lane, it is the only consistent issue I have. But you can always adjust yourself especially... More

Wed, 09 May 2012@ JackBMurphy - yeah it's called Liberty and it samples Charlie Chaplin's speech from the film 'The Great Dictator'. I can't remember the exact version but the original is by K2 Tone: www.beatport.com/#release/liberty/349255
As far as the night goes, I thought the music was excellent from start to finish. That was never in doubt.

The promoters on the other hand......

How difficult can it be to get people into a club? If you... More
