  • London's lo*kee will mark their fourth birthday on Sunday 6th May. As you might have guessed from the name, Lo*kee has built its following through semi-regular secretive events in temporary spaces around London. In 2010 they began to branch out into "above board" parties at established venues under the name Lo*kee Loves, collaborating with like-minded record labels and clubs/promoters from across Europe. Southwark's 7-9 Crucifix Lane has been a stable home for them since February 2011, and on Sunday, May 6th (the day before the May Bank Holiday) they'll link up with Stefan Kozalla and Marcus Fink's Pampa Records for an all-night celebration of left-field house and techno. Started in 2009 Pampa has been a home for the music of Kozalla (better known, of course, by his artist name DJ Koze) and German artists such as Isolée, Ada and Christopher Rau. Robag Wruhme—who along with DJ Koze headlines the upcoming party—has been something of a mainstay for Pampa thus far (releasing a single and an album) along with oddball outfit Die Vögel, who play live on the night. Lo*kee residents and founders Sebastian Voigt and Nisekay will provide support on the night. Tickets for Lo*kee Loves Pampa Records are available to purchase from RA Tickets.
