Details of Pioneer's new HDJ-1500 headphones have been announced.
The HJD-1500s come with a newly developed soundproofing chamber to minimise outside noise, increased output levels over older Pioneer models (1db higer than the HDJ-1000s) and urethane memory foam ear pads. A lightweight magnesium alloy has been used for the HJD-1500's headband and hinges. Frequency response is 5Hz to 30,000Hz. The HJD-1500s will come in two colours—black and silver—and be available as of May 2012.
Pioneer will release the HJD-1500s in May 2012 at a suggested retail price of 189 Euros.
