Digital Soundboy Soundsystem have mixed Fabriclive 63, due for release in May.
The Digital Soundboy label was started by Shy FX in 2005 and has been an outlet for drum & bass and dubstep from artists like Skream, DJ Fresh, Redlight and Donae'o ever since. Fabriclive 63 marks a first for the label with "Digital Soundboy Soundsystem," a trio comprised of Shy FX and label regulars Breakage and B. Traits. It was mixed in a collaborative process, with each DJ offering up track selections and ideas, then coming together at the Digital Soundboy studio to find ways to mix them in sequence.
Though the label is most often associated with drum & bass, the 49-track mix features a number of less classifiable artists like Roska, Bok Bok, Pangaea, and even M.A.N.D.Y vs. Booka Shade. The CD's release party will take place at fabric on May 11th.
