Levon Vincent returns to New York for The Nothing Special

- Craig Richards will bring The Nothing Special back to Blkmarket Membership in New York on Friday, May 4th. The party will feature two guests whose appearances are rare in different ways. Levon Vincent is one of them. A former New York resident with a dark and gritty style of house, Vincent now lives in Berlin and DJs regularly across Europe, but has played only a handful of parties back home since he moved. That said, he certainly hasn't forgotten those stateside roots: his first-ever commercial mix, a contribution to the Fabric series due out next week, almost exclusively features producers from the East Coast. Marc Leclair is the night's other guest. Best known for the enduring microhouse he's produced as Akufen, this time he'll play a rare live set as Horror Inc., a much less prolific alias that reveals his darker, more introspective side. Richards will DJ too of course, and Taimur Agha from Blkmarket rounds out the night's bill. The party's location is TBA so check the event page for more information closer to the date.
