  • S.A.S.H, the weekly Sunday afternoon party in Sydney, will celebrate their first birthday on May 13th. One of the city's few regular Sunday afternoon clubbing events, S.A.S.H launched as a fortnightly gig at The White Horse in Surry Hills before shifting to The Abercrombie Hotel this year to run the party every week. Although welcoming international acts like Roman Flugel, Pig & Dan and Manik to the decks, the lineups of the past 12 months have generally featured a who's who of the city's most reputable house and techno DJs, with Murat Kilic, Simon Caldwell and Jamie Lloyd all having dropped in to play sets. In this instance, Sydney veteran Robbie Lowe and Haul Music's Claire Morgan will be on headline duties, with Gabby and S.A.S.H creators Kerry Wallace and Matt Weir fleshing out the rest of the bill. The celebrations begin at The Abercrombie at 2:00 PM and will move from the venue's outdoor area to the inside from 11:00 PM. The party's theme is simply "shit fancy dress" and organisers claim that those not dressed up will not be allowed entry.
