The Berlin-based house DJ will head across the Atlantic this week for parties in the US and Canada.
Prosumer has seven gigs confirmed in the US and Canada this month, beginning Thursday in Miami.
Prosumer, AKA Achim Brandenburg, has long been associated with Berlin's house scene as a resident at Panorama Bar (the upstairs room at the famed Berghain techno club) and an artist on the venue's label Ostgut Ton. He's produced a handful of records over the years but is much better known around the world for his purist DJ sets. Last year he crafted his first ever official mix, Panorama Bar 03, which drew praise from RA's Andrew Ryce for its "timeless house selections."
After a night at the Electric Pickle in Miami, Prosumer will head north to Canada to DJ in Vancouver and Montreal. He'll then return to the US to play a few parties who have hosted him previously, including the Bunker in Brooklyn (he shares a front room bill with Fred P at that one) and Honey Soundsystem in San Francisco. He'll also link up with Smart Bar again for two shows: one at the club itself in Chicago, and another at Smart Bar's Movement Opening Party at TV Lounge in Detroit on Friday the 25th, which also features Kate Simko.
Tickets are available here on RA for Prosumer's parties in Miami, Montreal, and Detroit.
