Rekids boss Radio Slave has put together a 500MB collection for Sample Magic.
Under his Radio Slave alias Matt Edwards is known for a dark, drawn-out and percussion-led house sound, perhaps best exemplified by the No Sleep of 12-inches series which ran between 2006 and 2009 on Rekids. It's a style that Edwards will unsurprisingly bring to bear on his collection for Sample Magic. Recorded in his Berlin studio, the pack contains a total of 500MB of audio, bringing together loops—drums, synths, bass, percussion, FX etc.—and 200 individual drum hits. All loops are recorded at 125 BPM.
