The two English house jocks will represent the DJ collective in Australia next month.
Desyn Masiello and Tom Morgan will represent Faciendo at two shows in Melbourne and Sydney next month.
The house music collective, established last year, draws on the experience of six core residents and a further dozen contributors to host events with a kind of musical unity in mind. This is achieved by all of the artists involved sharing their music with one another and, ultimately, collaborating to come up with one central playlist to be used in a communal DJ performance. As such, the crew's sets and bi-weekly podcasts are hugely eclectic, spanning techno, Balearic, drum & bass and all varieties of house. Masiello and Morgan, two of the six main residents or "elders," have explained that their mixing will be one of the key elements of their shows during the tour, and of Faciendo as a whole, with the members spending a great deal of time familiarising and working with the common pool of music.
Their Melbourne gig on June 1st will be presented by Fluidlife at OneSixOne. Masiello and Morgan will be playing a full nine hours with no support acts, from 9:00 PM until 6:00 AM. Sydney get their turn the following night at One22, with recent Faciendo addition Mesan joining in. Tickets to both the Melbourne and Sydney shows can be picked up on RA.
