  • Rick Bull, AKA Deepchild, will play three gigs in Australia over two weekends in June. Bull made the permanent move to Berlin a few years back, after establishing himself in the Sydney techno scene throughout the '00s. The four albums he released in that time, including two which dropped on local label Future Classic, helped him gradually infiltrate the European market to the point where he was spending extensive amounts of time touring overseas. Having played sets at some of the world's top night spots, including live appearances at Berghain, he's spent more time working as a performer and DJ than as a producer since he migrated. He has has, however, managed to return to Australia regularly, with his last visit being back in March 2011. His upcoming tour consists of three shows, starting with a Loosekaboose party at Sydney's Goodgod Small Club on June 8th, where Bull will play live alongside regulars Jimi Polar and Trinity. He'll then head to Melbourne on the 10th to play at Revolver Upstairs with the Haul Music crew and Jamie Stevens & Steve Ward playing as Steve Stevens, before finishing up in Brisbane on June 16th at Barsoma.
