- The UK promoter will throw two parties this month featuring the Hyperdub and Mahogani label bosses.
- Black Atlantic has announced their plans for June, with two parties headlined by Kode9 and Moodymann respectively. After a Tri Angle showcase this past February, Black Atlantic will turn their gaze to Hyperdub in a collaboration with Tiger Beer and FACT for a night entitled "The Hidden Depths of Hyperdub" at London's KOKO venue on June 13th. In addition the label's head honcho, the bill features label signees Laurel Halo, Cooly G, and Scratcha DVA, all of whom have new albums on Hyperdub this year, and will be performing live. The lineup will be rounded off with two non-Hyperdub-affiliated "special" guests in Werk Discs head and Honest Jon's signee Actress (who will also be performing live), and Chicago footwork duo Rashad & Spinn, plus a "secret guest" listed as part of the Hyperdub roster that has yet to be announced. On June 30th, Black Atlantic will head to Oval Space in collaboration with Love Fever to bring Detroit's Moodymann to London. Completing the bill will be London local and Third Ear signee Wbeeza as well as Love Fever's own Citizen.
