  • Progressive house producer Guy J will play five Australian shows when he visits next month. The Tel Aviv-based artist has been hard at work since his first 12-inches back in 2006. Jumping on board with John Digweed's Bedrock Records early on, he has managed to release a dozen records on the London label, along with two double-albums. Occasional departures have included releases on Tiga's Turbo imprint and Azuli Records, illustrating his tendency to dabble in styles outside of the progressive house norm. 2012 has already been a prolific year for Guy J, with the release of three records and a handful of remixes. This will be his fifth visit to Australia in as many years, making him somewhat of a staple on the club circuit here. This time around Guy will be covering a lot of ground, with the tour kicking off at Geisha Bar in Perth on June 9th. The following day he'll hit Brisbane for an afternoon boat cruise to celebrate Ulterior's 5th birthday, before zipping down to Melbourne to play New Guernica in Melbourne that night. A quick stop at Transit Bar in Canberra on June 15th will precede his final show in Sydney at Chinese Laundry on the 16th.
