  • New York's Museum of Modern Art PS1 have annonuced the lineup for this year's Warm Up events. Now in its 15th year, the series will once again take place in the museum's courtyard every Saturday from July 7th to September 8th, focusing equally on live music and DJ sets. The courtyard will feature a special "urban landscape" installation from HWKN plus food from M. Wells, as well as various stage installations for each event. The artist lineups were selected by a panel coordinated by the museum, including museum employees, Tri Angle head Robin Carolan, DFA founder Jonathan Galkin, and XL boss Kris Chen. This year's lineup runs the gamut from house and techno to hip-hop, bass music and more experimental genres. Headliners include NYC house staple Todd Terry, Detroit's Terrence Parker, UK garage vet MJ Cole, London's Jamie xx and Floating Points, Photek, hip-hop producer Just Blaze and Border Community head James Holden. DJ sets will come from Matthew Dear and Thom Yorke & Nigel Godrich under their Atoms For Peace alias. Other notable acts include Hessle Audio founder Pearson Sound, ballroom don MikeQ, Detroit rapper Danny Brown and Leipzig's Kassem Mosse, while July 14th's event will feature a host of artists from the L.I.E.S. roster. Each concert will start at 2:00 PM and wrap up by 9:00 PM, and MoMA members as well as Long Island residents can receive one free tickets to a Warm Up 2012 event.
