  • A grip of artists from the Detroit's Beretta Music will go to The EndUp in San Francisco for a label showcase on Saturday, July 7th. With the popular [Kontrol] party having just retired earlier this month after seven years of operation, local clubbers should be pleased to know that first-Saturday techno nights will continue at The EndUp. Next month's event will feature Ryan Sadorus and Brian Kage's Beretta Music. Beretta, together with its Red and Grey sub-labels, turned ten this year, and that anniversary has been celebrated with showcases in Brooklyn and Pittsburgh as well as an official Movement Festival afterparty in Detroit last month. In San Francisco, six Beretta artists will be on hand: live sets will come from Reference (AKA Kage and production partner Luke Hess), Joshua Harrison and SF local Christina Chatfield, and Sadorus and Keith Kemp will both DJ. The EndUp is working with Listed and Fedora for this one, and Listed's Nikita and Michael Perry from Fedora will start off the night with a DJ set. Later in the year Listed will play a leading role in programming The EndUp's first Saturdays. Tickets to the Beretta Music Showcase are available here on RA.
