Local artist Trinity will also play live alongside the Melbourne duo at One22 this weekend.
Text Book Music and Trinity are set to play their first live sets in Sydney this Saturday night at Golden Cage.
Though they've recently booked internationals like Carl Craig and Guti, the Golden Cage crew still showcase exclusively local talent on occasion. In this instance, they're presenting a dual live debut in Sydney with the city's own Trinity and Melbourne duo Text Book Music. Made up of Darius Bassiray, the man behind the Electric Owl parties, and Melbourne mainstay Paul Beynon, Text Book Music also established a label of the same name in 2010. Trinity's activity on the production front has been relatively prolific since 2009, with the Sydney native clocking up releases on a number of Australian labels including Pinksilver, Haul Music and BEEF Records. Her first live performance in her home town follows on from a solid 10 year DJing career.
Both acts will be supported on the night by Garth Linton, Edoardo Perlo and Pash Mann. The doors of One22 will open at 10:00 PM this Saturday the 23rd of June, and tickets can be purchased here on RA.
