The Brooklyn bi-monthly bass series will celebrate its first anniversary with a secretly-located event next month.
Brooklyn's Reconstrvct series will celebrate its first birthday on Saturday, July 28th.
"Low frequency with decency" is the motto for Reconstrvct, which over the past year has hosted a well-received mix of UK bass favorites and east coast US talent and, most recently, teamed up with Croatia's Outlook Festival for an official launch party headlined by Tectonic Recordings boss Pinch. This anniversary event will feature Coki, also known as one-half of Digital Mystikz and one of the minds behind the DMZ label. A "possible surprise guest" is also in the works, and the night's local support will include Reconstrvct regulars Joe Nice (of Dub War fame) and Truenature.
After first calling The Morgan its home, these days Reconstrvct takes place at a secret location, so you'll need to RSVP by email to figure out the details. Tickets to the party are available here on RA.
