The multi-talented Berlin artist will make his debut in Australia next month.
Berlin DJ and producer Sven Weisemann will make his way to Australia for the first time this July.
The young German DJ and producer has been pushing his own brand of deep and dubby house since his first twelve-inch dropped in 2005. His output on labels like liebe*detail, Mojuba and Delsin represents only one corner of his musical activities, which also include soundtracks and jazz works, though it clearly reflects the breadth of his influences. A fan of everything from Detroit techno to classical, Weisemann's latest project, "Desolate", moves into the realm of atmospheric dubstep and has already resulted in two studio albums in the space of a year.
His first two appearances in Australia will take place over one weekend, starting with Melbourne on July 20th. Out of Focus will present the show at The Liberty Social, where he will be joined by Canadian deep house producer Basic Soul Unit, who will play live. The following evening, Weisemann will spin at a Shrug party at One22, along with Dave Stuart and several other local supports. You can grab tickets to both the Melbourne and Sydney parties here on RA.
