- The UK techno producer will release his new album on Soma.
Gary Beck will help UK institution Soma Records commemorate its 100th album release with his new LP.
Entitled Bring a Friend, the full-length sees Beck in his usual mode: Strong-edged techno that fits easily within a variety of sub-genres. A press release states that this one also has a "housey undertone" as well. Beck got his first big break when Richie Hawtin released "Consumed" on Minus, but the Scottish producer has consistently spread his work around to a number of labels. Saved and Soma Records have been two important homes—aside from his own Bek Audio of course—and it's Soma that will be putting out Beck's newest album this fall.
