Christian Martin tops the bill at Slinky 13

- The two-night campout will take place near the Sequoia National Forest in central California.
- JAM On it Productions' 13th annual Slinky Family Gathering will take place in central California the weekend of Friday, July 27th. This year's event will be held on never-before-used private land along Highway 180 near the Sequoia National Forest, about 90 minutes' driving distance from Fresno, and about four hours equidistant from San Francisco and Los Angeles. The music program will run for 24 hours beginning Saturday at noon, and a collection of SF and LA DJs will be on hand: Dirtybird co-founder Christian Martin is at the top of the lineup, and fellow Bay Area-based DJ Adnan Sharif, who's been billed at a couple other camping events that we've reported on this summer (the Grooveland Campout and this weekend's Sunset Campout) will also play a set. LA will be represented by Jason Blakemore and JAM On It DJs Alex Castillo and Lando, among others. There will be no vending on site, and it's a rain-or-shine event, so attendees should come stocked with their own food and drink and be prepared for a weekend spent outdoors.
