The Ukrainian producer will make his Australian debut later this month.
Mikhaylo Vityk, better known as Vakula, will visit Australia for the first time this July.
The highly prolific Ukrainian producer has been churning out deep house for the past five years or so, with the past two being particularly productive. In the past 18 months alone, Vityk has managed to clock up well over a dozen twelve-inches and two albums scattered across labels like Dekmantel, 3rd Strike and Archipel, as well as his own Leleka imprint. He recently contributed an RA Podcast consisting entirely of his own unreleased productions, indicating he's got plenty more up his seemingly endless sleeve. His rapid rise to popularity has seen the Ukrainian touring all around the world in recent times, with Vityk visiting 10 countries already this year including a comprehensive tour of Japan.
Melbourne will be the first stop during his debut in Australia, with the Animals Dancing crew hosting the show at their usual spot, The Mercat Basement, on July 27th with residents Otologic, Tornado Wallace and Andee Frost. The following night, Mad Racket will present the Sydney gig at the Marrickville Recreation Centre with locals Simon Caldwell and Ken Cloud. Tickets to both the Melbourne and Sydney parties can be purchased here on RA.
