Club to Club announce first details for 2012

- Marcel Dettmann and Kode9 are among the initial names announced for the Italian festival this November.
- Club to Club 2012 will take place in Turin, Italy, from November 8th to 11th this year. 2012 will mark the 12th edition of the festival, which will take over an "exclusive circuit of baroque theatres, contemporary art centres, clubs, post industrial pavilions, historical squares, creative districts, classical auditoriums" in a week marked by a number of different arts events and celebrations in the city in addition to Club to Club. On October 11th, the festival will hold a special preview event at London's XOYO as part of the Frieze Art Fair, and on October 27th and 28th two more preview events will take place in Milan, although full details for either have yet to be announced. Artists for Club to Club this time out include Hyperdub label boss Kode9 and his signee Laurel Halo, Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann, Sandwell District member Regis, Hotflush founder Scuba, Warp's Clark and Rustie, Skull Disco/Septic Heart conjurer Shackleton, and Hotflush funkateer Jimmy Edgar. Making their Italian debuts are Night Slugs' Jam City, masked disco man John Talabot's live set, ex-Vex'd member Kuedo, Tri Angle members Vessel and Evian Christ, while SBTRKT will DJ in Italy for the first time. More artists will be added to the lineup and presale tickets will be available in the coming weeks.
