  • Data will headline a Modified night in New York City on August 18th. The London producer has been active in drum & bass since 2008, releasing on Metalheadz, Horizons, Tempa, and Black Box in that time, and dipped into dubstep tempo on his recent multi-EP package Making Simple Things Complex. His own productions have a clean and sometimes aggressive sound, with an RA review from earlier this year describing it as "hungry, razor sharp... and utterly effective." The night, taking place at Brooklyn's Public Assembly, will act as a launch party for his new label venture Adapt, for which very little information is available right now. Supporting Data on the night is Dub War resident Dave Q, plus Modified resident Clever and local drum & bass DJ Nychavok. The event will mark Data's first NYC appearance in two years.
