- The Brazilian producer will release his second album under the alias in October.
Amon Tobin will release a new album as Two Fingers on October 1st.
Tobin launched the Two Fingers project back in 2009 with a self-titled album. It was a new alias that showed the producer entering the realm of relatively straightforward bass music, more dance floor-oriented than his recent experiments with field recordings and abstract sound design. Stunt Rhythms will be the second Two Fingers album, released through Ninja Tune subsidiary Big Dada, and according to a press release it's Tobin's "love letter to hip-hop," featuring structures and sounds indebted to the genre. Most of the tracks on the record are previously unreleased barring "Fools Rhythm," which was released in 2010 as part of the Ninja Tune XX 20th anniversary boxed set.
