- The Liverpool clubbing staple will release his second album in October.
- Yousef will release his second album, A Product of Your Environment, this October on Circus Recordings. Aside from being a well-travelled DJ and seasoned producer, Yousef is probably best known as the man behind Circus, a party that's long been a cornerstone of Liverpool's nightlife and that's set to celebrate its 10th anniversary in October. As a producer he's always been prone to collaboration, and his new LP is no exception. A Product of Your Environment shows him teaming up with Mercury Prize nominated jazz pianist Gwilym Simcock and classical guitarist Neil Campbell, plus vocalists David Williams and Tom Crew. American house artist Alexander East makes an appearance as well. According to a press release, the album takes a less club-oriented tack than his EPs and his first album, Scars & Situations. In addition to producing and mixing all of the tracks, Yousef wrote all of the album's lyrics as well, aside from those on "Had No Sleep." Tracklist 01. An Old Friend feat. David Williams 02.
