Mohn and Shigeto will also play the festival in The Hague in September.
Todaysart 2012 will take place in The Hague on September 21st and 22nd.
Operating since 2005, the festival is a two-day event that focuses on visual art and performance art. It takes place across a number of different mediums and venues, including exhibitions, concerts, nightclubs (the "Indoor" and "Club" portions), outdoor public spaces ("Amplified Architecture"), workshops and other interactive projects ("Exchange"). Themse for the symposiums this year are "Ubiquitous Art and Sound," focusing on the infiltration of sound and digital formats of sound into everyday life and technology, and "Future Collaborations" between art and industry.
Music-wise, some of the main events include a collaboration between experimental artists Ben Frost, Daniel Bjarnason and Sinfionetta Cracovia performing their conceptual Music for Sólaris project, and Seefeel member Mark Van Hoen delivering an audiovisual live set. Other highlights include Mohn, the new-ish collaboration between Kompakt's Wolfgang Voigt and Jörg Burger, Ghostly International's Shigeto and German artist Pantha Du Prince, who will perform live with The Bell Laboratory. Demdike Stare, Andy Votel and Bruno Spoerri will come together under the Slant Azymuth banner.
