The West Coast bass collective will have its fifth birthday party in September.
SHAH DJs will throw their fifth birthday party in Vancouver on September 29th.
Since its founding in 2007, SHAH DJs has become one of the most prominent bass music collectives in Vancouver, holding down the drum & bass scene and touching on other genres as well. SHAH nights range from blow-out international headliner affairs to local-focused nights at more intimate venues in the city. The SHAH DJs are also some of Vancouver's most in-demand opening DJs, often tapped by other promoters to open for bigger headliners from dubstep to drum & bass and beyond.
For their birthday party they'll team up with fellow Vancouver bass music crew LiGHTA! and Victoria's Whitebird. Sunshine Coast-based duo Daega Sound, known for their blending of techno with drum & bass and dubstep, will headline, with DJ Outsider and fellow Whitebird resident Tedder also confirmed. SHAH itself will be represented by Vancouver's own Kir Mokum, and Vancity Soul Hop associate Thomas Workshop will also make an appearance, along with a few "surprise guests."
